# OmniBazaar

> OmniBazaar is a marketplace and exchange where you keep hold of your own
> money. Buy and sell goods, services and property with people anywhere;
> swap one kind of money for another; follow prediction markets; earn on
> what you are not using. Nobody at OmniBazaar can take your funds, freeze
> your account or close your shop, because we never hold any of it — every
> payment moves between you and the person you are dealing with.

Three ways in, all the same account: this website, a browser extension
wallet, and a phone app. Every feature works in all three.

What it costs, in full:

- Selling something: 1% of the sale, paid by the seller.
- Money held safely until a sale completes: included, no separate charge.
- Swapping one kind of money for another: 0.2% for taking a price off the
  book; placing a price on the book earns 0.05% back.
- Turning your OmniCoin private and back again: no charge, one for one.
- Getting your identity checked: free.

OmniCoin is the network underneath, and XOM is what it runs on. Ordinary
use costs you no network fee — the validators pay it.
